The World Goes 'Round: The Songs of Kander and Ebb

The Back Stage Theatre Co. at Farmingdale State College proudly presents the hit revue, The World Goes 'Round , at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 6 and Saturday, December 8, at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 7 and at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 9 in the Roosevelt Hall, Little Theater.

The revue is a compilation of the best songs from one of the most important Broadway songwriting teams: John Kander and Fred Ebb. Best known for their massive hits, Cabaret and Chicago, and for their song New York, New York, Kander's music and Ebb's lyrics have been a presence on Broadway, in the movies and in popular music.

The show is directed by Ted Kastrinos of Port Jefferson with musical direction by Dee Laveglia of Mattituck and choreography by Jamie Chandler-Torns from Commack . The show features Kathryn Burke from Copaigue, Chandra Bragoli from Sound Beach, Patrick Flanagan from Bayville, Katy Flynn from Lindenhurst, and Eric Vasquez from Plainedge.

Tickets may be purchased at the door on the night of the performance. Tickets are $5.00 for students and seniors and $10.00 for the general community.
