Farmingdale State College Nursing Department

Farmingdale State College's Department of Nursing invites you to see Plaza Theatrical Production's musical revival of HELLO DOLLY! on Saturday, April 14, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. in the Roosevelt Hall Little Theater. The tickets are $15 and all proceeds will benefit the college's Student Nurses Association.

"And what do you do for a living, Mrs. Levi?" asks Ambrose Kemper in the first scene of this most delightful of musical comedies. "Some people paint, some sew...I meddle," replies Dolly. HELLO, DOLLY! is full of memorable songs including Put On Your Sunday Clothes, Ribbons Down My Back, Before the Parade Passes By, Elegance, Hello, Dolly!, It Only Takes a Moment and So Long, Dearie. And we are off on a whirlwind race around New York at the turn of the twentieth century, to follow the adventures of America 's most beloved matchmaker!

HELLO DOLLY!, adapted from Thorton Wilder' s book The Matchmaker by Michael Stewart with music and lyrics by Jerry Herman, played for 2,844 performances on Broadway at the St. James Theatre . At the time it was the longest playing Broadway musical. The show has been revived several times on Broadway, most recently in 1995 and now it is being brought to you by Plaza Theatrical Productions, Inc.

Harrington , is a Long Island-based professional touring company serving public organizations, schools, camps, country clubs, convention centers and senior citizen developments.
