Conference on Entrepreneurship at Farmingdale State College

Are you ready to start your own business? Need new strategies for your existing business? Then Join Farmingdale State College's School of Business and the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at the 3 rd Annual Conference on Entrepreneurship , Saturday, May 12, 2007 .

Following last year's highly successful conference, the 2007 Conference on Entrepreneurship offers new topics, more breakout sessions and a new inspirational keynote speaker. Long Island's own Sharon Lobel , Founder, Former President and CEO of Farmingdale-based Seal-It, Inc., has agreed to be the key speaker at this year's conference.

This all day event is designed to educate and empower Long Island's entrepreneurs.  Those who attend the conference will gain insight and understanding of how to start a business and how to strategically and profitably grow your company.

There will be ample time for networking with other attendees during breakfast, lunch and the afternoon networking reception. Based on last year's comments, this conference is a "must attend" event for anyone starting or operating a small business.

Established in 1986, the SBDC at Farmingdale State provides free one-on-one business counseling to either startup or existing businesses and works closely with the college's School of Business .

The advance registration fee for the conference, which will meet from 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. in Roosevelt Hall, is $30; Farmingdale State students and alumni receive a discounted registration fee of $15. The walk-in registration fee will be $40.
